5 Easy steps to winning Texas Hold’em Sit n Go’s

  • 5 Only play extremely strong hands in the beggining when the blinds are low. There’s no need to get involved in a pot early in the tournament. You make money by placing. The amount of chips you have has nothing to do with you’re winnings.
  • 4 Never limp-in a pot in early position. Always raise. You don’t want some clown in the blinds with deuce five off suit hitting a boat on the flop.
  • 3 Play within your bankroll. You should have about 50 buy ins. So if you only have $100 dollars in your online poker account you should not play a sit n go with a buy in of more than $2.
  • 2 Don’t get blinded out. Never let the blinds become so high that you can’t push opponents out of the blinds with a raise. The standard rule is 5 big blinds. Example blinds are $200/400 and you have $2000 or less, you need to make an all in move before the blinds hit you.
  • 1 Buy this poker book. Sit ‘n Go Strategy by Collin Moshman. The book is extremely fresh and it contains all of the information I’ve just listed and then some. The importance of reading and studying this books can’t be stressed enough. It has countless questions and answer sections that will give you multiple scenarios for you to test what you’ve just read. You can purchase Sit ‘n Go Strategy for only $16.47 which is nothing compared to what I’ve blown loosing sit n go’s. It will make you ten times that in a week. Please read the book multiple times. There’s going to be things you miss the first time, so be sure to really study this book.
